1 person injured after house fire turned grass fire in Tulare County

TULARE COUNTY (KFSN) -- Cal Fire is investigating the cause of a house fire that ended up spreading to nearby vegetation. It happened in Tulare County earlier Monday on Avenue 56, east of highway 65.

The grass fire was contained to five acres and we're told one person was burned on the hands.

Crews will stay on scene for some time to keep an eye on any hot spots.
