FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A frightening attack was caught on camera and posted to social media and what you see could be connected to an even worse crime. The fight happened Saturday right across the street from Fresno State.

Brutality rose to new heights in the middle of the afternoon at the University Inn.

At least one camera was recording as a teenage girl stomped on another in the parking lot. A hotel employee told Action News she called the police, but by the time officers got there everyone was gone. Police said there's a call to that address, but no report.

Witnesses are hesitant to talk publicly about what they saw, but one of them tells me the girl who inflicted the most damage had a heavy hand, a taser, and a beef.

Shortly after a shooting in southeast Fresno last July, police arrested her 15-year-old brother on attempted murder charges. The case is about to go to trial and witnesses to the fight said she seemed to believe the other girl snitched on her brother.

Action News shared the video with police who said there is a clear assault, but without a victim to contact, they said, it's tough to investigate.

Action News tracked down the victim Monday evening. She said she went down to the ground when the other girl used the Taser on her and then couldn't do much but block the big blows. She also said she didn't believe the attack was related to the attempted murder case.
