16-year-old arrested for allegedly killing a pig at Delhi High School

DELHI, Calif. (KFSN) -- According to the Merced County Sheriff's Office, a 16-year-old student was arrested on animal cruelty charges for allegedly killing a pig at Delhi High School.

The student who raised the pig found the animal strangled and stabbed.

Investigating Deputy Jesse Aguilar worked with students to help determine who the suspect was.

The suspect is currently in juvenile hall and the case will be filed with the DA.
