19-year-old accused of shooting brother at Central Fresno apartment

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are looking for a 19-year-old man suspected of shooting his own brother at an apartment complex in Central Fresno.

Police said the suspect, identified as Samuel Arroyo, got into an argument with his 30-year-old brother. It happened shortly before 11 Wednesday morning at Shields and West.

Investigators said Arroyo shot the victim at least three times, hitting him in the palm, thigh, and backside.

Police said Arroyo then drove off in a red or burgundy 2001 Mazda.

The older brother is being treated at Community Regional Medical Center for non-critical injuries.
