FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A traffic stop leads to two arrests after turning up a stolen firearm from a home burglary.

Officers pulled over 19-year-old Crishae Easter and her passenger, 18-year-old Ronnie Latre, Thursday night in the area of Ventura and Fifth Street in Southeast Fresno.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found a stolen gun in a child's backpack along with several small baggies of marijuana in another backpack next to a sleeping infant.

Police said the stolen gun is related to a burglary case where one shotgun, two rifles, and $10,000 in cash was stolen.

Both suspects were booked into the Fresno County Jail.
