Six people are displaced after fire burned through a home's attic in Southwest Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Six people are displaced after fire burned through a home's attic in Southwest Fresno. It broke out just after 1:30 at a home on Lily near Jensen.

Firefighters said dogs barking woke up the residents of the home-- they were able to get out safely.

The roof did cave in due to the flames.

Firefighters were able to save some of their personal items.

No word on what caused the fire.
