PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of Porterville residents took part in a march for immigration reform Sunday.

Roberto Bustos was the leader of Sunday's march. Bustos is previously known for marching side by side with Cesar Chavez.

The Fresno State Social Work Student Association set up the march to defend the Dream Act for local valley immigrants.

Event organizers say their goal is to put pressure on Congress to pass the Dream Act and to extend permanent protection for families.
