Deputies say the girls were last seen around on Monday at 1:30 in the afternoon in the Tarpey area. The Sheriff's Department has not issued an Amber Alert because they were not abducted. They left on their own, but authorities are still very concerned and say this is an unusual situation.
Deputies don't know why the girls left their home they share with their uncle, their legal guardian. But their uncle told Action News that he asked them to tidy up the home while he dropped off the girl's mother who had been visiting.
They were last seen driving in a 1996 Blue Ford Taurus station wagon with California license plate number 3SLH086.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Department.
