Six-year-old Thomas accidentally got left behind at a rest stop along Interstate 80. Some Good Samaritans called the sheriff's department.
The Golubs say they'll do a head count from now on.
"Every time, I count every child," said the mother, Inna Golub. "But yesterday, I ask, 'Is everybody here?' 'Yeah.'"
The Golub's say they thought Thomas was asleep in the van. They called 911 when they realized he was missing and he was quickly reunited with his family.
