Request for More Police at Central High's East Campus

KFSN The assistant superintendent says several fights on the campus Thursday alerted officials to the need for more security.

They say safety is their number one concern... and an increased awareness made a difference.

Chris Williams, CUSD Assistant Superintendent: "We've had an outstanding day. The students have been doing an extremely great job on the campus, and we've not had any disturbance or any issues at all."

Assistant Superintendent Chris Williams says yesterday's scuffles were fist-fights only... And no weapons were ever reported on campus.
