Fresno wine clubs sent dozens of members in buses so they could enjoy the wine without worrying about driving home.
They say it's important to get the word out about the wines coming out of Madera. Chuck Van Fleet, Vino 100, says "The wineries in Madera, a lot more people in Fresno need to know more about them. They're doing a great job publicizing them, but people really need to know they're making great wine."
Madera wineries are best known for producing really good dessert wines, but they're branching out to other kinds of wines as well.
The next big wine trail trip is the third weekend in May.
