Fresno Police Make Significant Drug Bust

Fresno Undercover officers seized about a pound of meth and at least $3,000 in cash in two busts Saturday night.

Officers say they were doing surveillance on suspected mid-level drug dealers in northwest Fresno and followed the dealers as they made sales to street dealers. They say the drug trade has been moving north with gang activity.

Sgt. Tim Tietjen, Fresno Police, says "In recent weeks we've seen an influx of narcotics sales in northwest and northeast policing districts. We've seen Bulldog gang members and Sureno gang members receiving and dealing drugs."

In this bust, they say the drug dealer kept his meth and his cash in a hidden compartment built inside his car.
