Canal Rescue

Fresno Investigators say three cars had stopped at a red light in east-central Fresno, but a fourth car came up behind them and didn't stop.

That car started a chain reaction collision and bounced into the half-full canal. The driver was trapped in the car until police came to the rescue.

Four people went to the hospital from the accident, but they're all expected to be okay. Investigators are looking into whether alcohol or speeding were involved in the wreck.
