Mills gets $48.6 Million in McCartney Divorce

3/17/2008 London, England In a London divorce courtroom, a judge ordered McCartney to pay heather mills $48.6-million dollars. He's also been ordered to make periodic payments to the couple's daughter.

The settlement comes two years after they separated, following four years of marriage. They had no pre-nuptial agreement.

McCartney reportedly offered mills around $32-million dollars but she was seeking at least double that amount.

McCartney left without comment.
