She moved to New York City at 17, and writes that she's had a tough time, "I have been alone, I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless."

Dupre was allegedly paid more than $4,000 dollars for a two hour tryst with Elliot Spitzer in Washington DC last month. "You're buying privacy, you're buying that girl who will forget you and who you are the moment you leave the room," said Emperor's Club Attorney Kathleen Mullin.

Wednesday, Governor Spitzer left office. Upon resigning, he said he would look back at his time with a sense of "what might have been." "I am deeply sorry I did not live up to what was expected of me," said Spitzer.
