Police said a dog found the remains between two houses Monday, but there was no evidence the body was buried. "There is an alleyway that is accessible from rear of property. So it is possible someone may have disposed of body by throwing over fence," said Jose Gonzalez with the Santa Ana Police Department.
Police searched the property and found blankets and clothing which may have been used to wrap or hide the baby. Officers say the people who live in the two homes are cooperating with investigators.
