Chaffee Zoo Lemurs Empty Moat

Fresno Firefighters used their fire hose to refill the pool in the lemur exhibit after a brief mix-up. The pool was drained by zoo officials for cleaning before they found out the city would be turning off the water to the area.

That left the animals with an empty moat around their home. Zookeepers say the water around the exhibit is what keeps the lemurs inside. So city officials called in a fire truck.

The truck ran its hose into the exhibit and refilled the water as the lemurs watched from above.
