Co-housing members have been planning the community for nearly 4 years. They've already developed strong relationships with their future neighbors. "It's knowing these wonderful people and getting to know them over the four years. Working together, having parties together, socializing together, getting to know each other's ups and down and becoming family to each other is really what it boils down to," said future resident Pat Looney-Burman.
In addition to the strong emphasis on community, members of La Querencia are also committed to living green. The development is being built with state of the art green building materials and technologies.
