Alameda bomb squad responds to threat

The Alameda County Sheriff's bomb squad has been called to respond to a bomb threat or suspicious package at the Planned Parenthood office at the Eastmont Town Center at 7200 Bancroft Ave. in Oakland, according to spokesman Sgt. J.D. Nelson.

Oakland police are in charge of the investigation but a spokesperson wasn't immediately available for comment.
