Today's launch was designed to help faculty and staff understand the "green campus" initiative.
After today's event all of the green waste was taken to the Fresno State farm lab and added to the compost pile. It takes about 8 to 12 weeks for the products to degrade naturally. Then the farm labs can begin using a planting material.
