Fresno Marijuana Farm Shutdown

Fresno, CA Authorities say all three bedrooms in the home were altered for growing hundreds of marijuana plants. Members of the Fresno Meth Task Force served a search warrant at the home after receiving an anonymous tip.

They found an expensive, high-tech operation hidden inside. Mike Oliver, Fresno Meth Task Force: "They're all under grow lights, things of that nature."

Officers took a 24-year old suspect into custody. He's also charged with stealing electricity used to grow the marijuana plants.

Police say he tapped into a power line and set up a full electrical system in the house with a separate circuit breaker so the excessive power usage wouldn't register with PG&E.
