The Battle of the Badges kicked off Monday at the Fresno City Fire department's new headquarters in Downtown Fresno.
The Fresno City fire department is going against the Fresno City Police Department Cal-Fire and Highway Patrol.
They're trying to bring in as many donations as possible ahead of Memorial Day weekend. Donors have until next Tuesday, May 20, to donate at mobile drives around Fresno and Madera counties. All donors get a free t-shirt.
Donations are also being taken at the two Fresno Central California Blood Center locations.
