The cost of attending a California State University is going up again in the fall.CSU trustees authorized raising yearly undergraduate tuition by $276-dollars, or ten-percent on Wednesday.

The system, which includes Fresno State, is under orders from the governor to reduce campus spending to help make up a statewide budget deficit.

For Fresno State students, the system-wide fee hike comes on top of a local fee increase of $52-dollars per semester.

University President John Welty approved the hike last week saying it's needed to keep athletics functioning at a division one level.
