A northwest Fresno intersection was shut down for a short time after a car was hit by a train in the area. The accident happened Friday night just before eleven o'clock at Ashlan and West.

The train hit the car, and damaged it, but the driver got away with non-life threatening injuries.

Now railroad officials are investigating whether the driver will face charges for trying to cross.
