School Lunch Price Increase

5/30/2008 KFSN High gas and food prices are forcing some school districts to raise the price of school lunches.

Several districts across the state are tacking on another 25 to 50 cents per meal.

Administrators say the cost of food and supplies for school meals has gone up 26 percent and continues to rise every day.

Students who get a free or reduced price lunch will not be affected by the price increase.

The students who pay full price will feel the pinch.
