Fresno State now moves into the Super Regional for the first time since that format was introduced 8 years ago. They will play Arizona State in a best of 3 series next weekend.
The winner goes to the college World Series.

6/3/2008 Fresno, CA The pitching of Holden Sprague and Brandon Burke held San Diego to just one run. Gavin Hestrom singled in 2 in the bottom of the 5th to give the Bulldogs the lead. They added 3 more in the bottom of the 8th.
