They put in more than 500 hours of work on house construction so they could get the home done. Ye Xiong says he's happy his five kids will now grow up in a safe community.
Tony Miranda, Habitat for Humanity, says "Having a stable place for the family to call home is a key to the success of the young folks, so when we see this family and the little ones, we feel like we're giving them a real chance to be successful in this world."
The Xiong's home is in the crossroads subdivision that habitat is building. There are now five homes left to build and the subdivision should be finished by November.
