Home health care workers say that will force a lot of them to finds different jobs and it will force a lot of their clients into nursing homes. Charles Taylor, home care provider, says "Ok, so they're on their own. How can they take care of themselves? How can they prepare the food for them? How can they go and do the shopping for them? They will feel like, 'hey, well, what am I'm supposed to do?'
At Saturday's rally, people wrote letters to the governor and signed petitions to avoid the budget cuts. Their next step is to directly contact voters to make sure everyone knows the consequences of the budget cuts.
