Fresno State Beats North Carolina, Still Undefeated at CWS

The Bulldogs beat #2 University of North Carolina 5 to 3 to remain undefeated in the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The Bulldogs' next game will be Friday at 4pm. They'll play the winner of Thursday's showdown between LSU and North Carolina. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN. Fresno State took the lead in the 5th inning with a two run single from Alan Ahmady. They added one insurance run from Eric Wetzel in the bottom of the 8th inning.

Fresno State entered the College World Series unranked and unheralded. They are now just one win away from making it to the CWS finals.
