With one more win tonight, the Fresno State Bulldogs will be champions of college baseball.

In game two of the series, the Bulldogs turned a five-run deficit against Georgia into a nine-run lead in a matter of three innings. Fresno State's 19-10 victory forced a deciding game three in the finals.

The Bulldogs are in position to become the fifth straight non-national seed to win the championship and there's no doubt, last night's incredible comeback win captivated the community.

After that amazing performance, fans will give the Bulldogs a superstar welcome back home no matter what happens in tonight's final game.

As the last pitch was thrown the crowd was chanting... "Let's go Bulldogs." And when the ball was popped up, and caught for the final out, they went wild.

The crowd had been somber for the first three innings, when Georgia had a five to nothing lead. "I was like this. And everybody's trying to talk to me and I said don't talk to me, but you know what, they came back. I can't explain it, it's just unbelievable," said Bulldogs fan Lisa Gonzales.

As the Fresno State Bulldogs battled back every base hit was celebrated. The Bulldogs overwhelming onslaught sent the crowd into a frenzy. "It was Bulldogs all the way baby. It was the best game ever. All the way baby, Bulldogs number one," said Bulldogs fan Jesus Ramirez.

Fan Adam Frerichs said, "This is the best team I'm ever seen a gutsy performance, a phenomenal performance its up there as one of the great performances of all time."

Along with the long time fans, the diamond dogs incredible performance is attracting a lot of newcomers to the game. "I'm learning the game and I'm real excited. Because this game shows we're not just like Cinderella's, we have real talent, I'm actually excited be here tomorrow," said new Bulldog Baseball fan Katie Tanaka.

There will be a "welcome home" celebration for the Bulldogs regardless of tonight's outcome at the College World Series. It's scheduled for Thursday, June 26th at 7:00pm at Beiden Field. The public is invited to come out to the ballpark and congratulate the Fresno State Bulldogs on a history-making season.
