Ten family members were asleep in the home when the fire broke out just after midnight. Investigators say three neighbors rushed to the home and got everyone out of the burning home.
Firefighters say one family member got hurt when he used his arm to bust a window so his family could escape the burning home.
Capt. Chris Christopherson, Cal Fire, says "This is truly an amazing story of how neighbors would risk their own safety and lives to help those in need."
Investigators say the fire started outside the home so the smoke detectors didn't go off until it spread inside. The Red Cross was there shortly after the home burned and provided the family with food and clothing.
