2.8 quake in Santa Clara County

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.8 struck at about 6:08 p.m. today near the Alum Rock area of Santa Clara County. According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of 5.2 miles and was centered 6 miles southeast of Alum Rock and 10 miles east of San Jose
