Historic Hotel Goes up in Flames

A historic hotel in Huron burned down Saturday. The Central Hotel on 10th Street burned down in the early morning.By the time Cal-Fire firefighters got to the scene, the place was already covered in flames. They looked around the building and decided to evacuate families who lived nearby and just try to protect other buildings.

The hotel was one of the four original buildings in Huron. It was built in 1890, burned down in 1919, and then got rebuilt.

Fire investigators say they're handling the case as arson because it looks like there were two separate fires set at different times.
