Police claim 26-year-old Michael Grijalva of Fresno was speeding in his SUV when he hit four parked vehicles.
One car flew onto the lawn in front of an apartment, missing it by only a couple of feet. Grijalva was found lying in the road. A woman who was passenger ran off and has not been found.
Grijalva is believed to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was arrested at the scene before transported to Community Regional Medical Center. He's listed in critical condition.
