Happy Homecoming

7/20/2008 Fresno, CA Lance Corporal Adam Romero ran into his mother's arms this afternoon. He's home after spending six months in northwestern Iraq, where half of his unit is still deployed.

Kevin Dotson, with the U.S. Army, is also a hero to his family. He came home today after several months of training Iraqi forces.

They both say coming home is really special. "It's an amazing feeling. I haven't seen my wife or my kids since November last year, so it's an indescribable feeling," says Dotson.

"I've been looking forward to getting home for so long and it just seemed like a never ending process, so getting off the plane and getting here put a cap on everything," says Romero. Romero says he missed his family the most, but he also missed the food a whole lot.
