Calls to crisis centers are up in the last year, with many victims afraid to leave abusers in a worsening economy.

The panic has some making rash or hasty decisions with their money. Some are putting a lot on gold. Others are putting a stop to 401k contributions and funneling more cash to the pocket book. Financial experts advise against that and tell clients ride it out, think long term. In fact, now is the time to be buying at a low price.
