Rowdy Fresno Bus Riders Get the Boot

Fresno, CA, USA Governor Schwarzenegger signed a bill that punishes misbehaving bus riders. The new law says people can be banned from riding a city bus for up to sixty days for bad behavior, including spraying graffiti.

Riders can be banned permanently for more serious offenses. The new rules will not take effect until the city comes up with guidelines and gives riders advance notice of the changes.
