The health department held the first of what will be several flu shot clinics, this one at the Reedley Senior Center. Seniors, as well as children and pregnant women are encouraged to get a flu shot because typically they're most vulnerable to sickness during the cold weather months.
The county charges $4.00 for flu shots given at the clinics. Tuesday's clinic will be held in Coalinga.
