Clean Air Forum

Dozens took part in a special clean air forum at Fresno City College Saturday. The focus was on achieving climate goals and reducing pollution through transportation alternatives in the valley.

Electric cars were one of the options proposed.

A consultant taking part in today's discussion explained why these forums are important to valley communities, which can be more spread out than some urban areas around the state.

Experts say despite efforts to improve the health of the valley's air, the San Joaquin valley still has some of the dirtiest air in the nation.
