The Fresno man is wanted Thursday by California Lottery officials. He's accused of re-selling previously played lottery tickets at a popular Madera County casino.Lottery officials spent today trying to track down 25-year old Daniel Butcher. They said he's stealing lottery scratchers and re-selling the losing tickets at Chukchansi Casino.

Lottery officials said this is Daniel Butcher walking down the aisle at Chukchansi Casino. He sits down to play then befriends the person next to him. Before long, undercover investigators say he's asking other patrons to buy lottery tickets at a discounted price.

Investigators said butcher was also caught on surveillance at this chevron in north Fresno stealing Stars And Stripes Scratchers. Lottery officials said he's tampering with tickets and keeping the winners.

Thursday morning officers searched the home butcher was last known to be living in. He was not there. Investigators said they contacted him by phone and he agreed to meet them this afternoon but he never showed up.

A warrant has been issued for Butcher's arrest. He's already on probation for possessing a controlled substance. Lottery officials would like to hear from you if you've been a victim or have seen butcher.

Investigators want to remind everyone to only buy lottery tickets from authorized retailers.
