His neighbors near old Figarden say it's an unwelcome statement and they're pursuing vandalism charges against Baird.
"Make our protest known. If these lousy financial institutions aren't willing to work with us and they just start steamrolling us...we should be able to have a voice," says Baird.
Louise Yenovkian, Homeowners Association President, says "We try to maintain the homes to the historic nature and bring them back to the beauty that they once were and this is just complete disrespect to the neighbors, the neighborhood and the home."
Baird says he hasn't been able to contact his bank. His loan is with Washington Mutual, but the bank got bought out by JP Morgan. He says he wants to keep making payments on his home and get out of foreclosure.
