Fresno's Veteran's parade started in 1919 as a way for the American Legion to honor World War I veterans. Since then, it has grown to include 10,000 veterans and participants.
Organizers say Fresno's Veterans Day Parade is the largest on the west coast, and last year despite the rain, thousands turned out.
We'll have dry skies this year. Tuesday's festivities will start with opening ceremonies at 10:45am in front of Fresno's City Hall and the parade will step off at 11am.
