Brooklyn's Ball

11/16/2008 Fresno, CA, USA Espinoza was diagnosed with a rare disease at a young age. It damaged several major organs and she had to have a liver transplant. The 11-year old died last Sunday while waiting for a second transplant.

Saturday night's silent auction and dance was organized by a group of family friends and one teacher who said you never saw Espinoza without a smile on her face.

Brooklyn's Ball sold out with 7-hundred people buying tickets.

It was supposed to pay for the transplant, but now Brooklyn's parents will use the money to pay off medical bills they accumulated over the last decade.
