Vivas reaches $5.2 Mil Settlement with Fresno State

A settlement has been reached in the discrimination case involving Fresno State and former volleyball coach Lindy Vivas.Vivas sued the school last year, claiming she was fired for gender discrimination. Vivas settled for $5.2 million dollars for cash and annuities.

Her case was one of three lawsuits against the university last year.

Former Associate Athletic Director Diane Milutinovich settled for $3.5 million dollars in her discrimination case.

Stacy Johnson-Klein, a former basketball coach, won a $19 million dollar award, which was reduced to about $6.5 million by a judge.
