Among them will fitness guru Jack Lalanne who began his TV career at KGO-TV in 1951.
The now 94-year old Lalanne visited the station Monday. He called his selection an honor and as always had a message about personal fitness and health.
"Have goals. Have challenges. You know, I'd rather wear out than rust out. Too many people think about retiring. I don't care how long I live but I want to live while I'm living," he said.
Lalanne still works out every day, along with his wife Elaine.
When it comes to eating he says if people make it, do not eat it.
