More than $20,000 of Stolen Property Recovered in Kingsburg

Kingsburg, CA, USA The Kingsburg Police Department and Tulare County Sheriff's Department recovered more than twenty-thousand dollars in stolen property. Authorities say most of the items were stolen within the last sixty -days.

Everything from fishing poles to power tools and laptop computers. There's even a big ... flat-screen TV. Officers arrested one suspect Tuesday night.

Kingsburg Police Chief Jeff Dunn said, "When the officers arrived last night to serve the search warrant the suspect had already attempted to burn some of the evidence. Some of the items taken were documents and papers from different residences throughout Kingsburg."

The man officers are talking about is 30-year old Michael George of Kingsburg. At the time of the arrest, they also recovered about three ounces of cocaine and three pounds of marijuana.
