Islands of the Great Barrier Reef The official tourism board for the Australian state of Queensland is looking for one qualified individual to be an "Island Caretaker."

The pay? According to the advertisement $100-thousand dollars for six months of watching whales, feeding turtles, and whatever else you can do on a tropical island.

You don't even need a lengthy resume.

"They have to be over 18, able to swim. Apart from that, we're open to anybody," said Jane Nicholson, Regional Manager of Tourism Queensland.

The application website has been flooded with applications ... up to 33 hits a second! The deadline is February 22nd.
