Peterson is well known for convicting accused killers like Larissa Schuster and James Fagone.
Peterson said he will use his skills prosecuting crimes to defend Hawk, but one thing will be very different for the accomplished attorney. "I'm just so practiced as announcing my appearance in court, 'Dennis Peterson for the people.' In this case, it's going to be 'Dennis Peterson on behalf of Dave Hawk.'"
Peterson will be in the South Valley Thursday when Hawk makes his next court appearance.
