Obama Continues Unraveling Bush Policies

Washington D.C. After only three days in office, President Barack Obama is quickly unraveling Bush administration policies while promoting his own agenda. Friday morning he met with a bi-partisan group of congressional leaders hoping for a quick compromise on the $825 billion dollar economic stimulus bill.

But the economy isn't the only issue on President Obama's agenda. Friday he will sign an executive order reversing a ban on federal funding for nongovernmental organizations that provide or promote abortions overseas.

First banned in the 80's under Reagan, the ban was lifted under President Clinton only to be reinstated when President George W. Bush came into office.

Just yesterday pro-life advocates marched through the streets of Washington for the march for life.

On the economy, President Obama faces a difficult task improving the nation's fiscal health. Recent corporate earnings reports are poor and the markets responded with a large drop at the opening bell on Wall Street Friday.
