The theme park opens at the end of February and needs to hire 500 people. Most of the positions are seasonal, but there are a select number of full-time openings.
The park will hold a job fair on February 7, 2009 at the University of Phoenix in Fairfield from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interested individuals ages 16 and over are requested to apply online before the event and are encouraged to attend in business attire for on-site interviews.

There will also be auditions for dancers and costumed characters held at Six Flags Thursday-Saturday, February 5-7, from 4 to 7 p.m. Individuals should be energetic and enthusiastic, with dancing abilities; can be male or female, in height ranging from 5'7" to 6'0"; weight from 120 to 190 lbs.
